Lakeland stone walls are notoriously difficult for sign fixing. With irregular surfaces and friable rock requiring stabilisation before any fixing can be secured, it requires much more than an ‘off the shelf’ solution.
Add to this the planners requirement for translucent materials to allow sight of the stone walls behind the sign... and the need to install on a predetemined date in a tight redevelopment schedule, and you’ve got one very demanding job. It’s all in a days work for Taylor & Pickles.
